Drymax Soft-Superabsorbent adhesive mesh
Drymax Soft meshes are sterile, superabsorbent pads, flexible and soft to fit properly and safely, for ulcers from low to high degree of exudate, in accordance with the European standard EN 13726-1:2002 (deposited declaration of conformity of the manufacturer).
They consist of:
– Superabsorbent core that quickly absorbs and retains exudate. The Exudate containing and wound bacteria is absorbed vertically by the patch and is retained in the core forming a gel, minimizing the risk
wetting the surrounding skin while maintaining a moist environment that it is necessary for wound healing.
– The hydrophilic wound contact layer effectively transports fluid away from the wound and distributes it evenly to the core, preventing adhesion of the patch on the wound promoting its atraumatic removal.
The meshes retain their shape and integrity throughout the use them .
They are indicated for the treatment of chronic exudative ulcers and acute wounds and
They can be used both as the main one in superficial wounds and as secondary patch on deeper wounds. They can also be used in combination with compressive bandage.
– Absorbent capacity 1.8 ml/cm2 under pressure of 40 mmHg.
– They do not contain Latex
