Drymax Border -Superabsorbent adhesive mesh
Drymax Border patches are sterile, superabsorbent, adhesive, Patches, flexible and soft to fit correctly and safely, for ulcers with high degree of exudate, in accordance with the European standard EN 13726-1:2002 (a declaration of conformity of the construction firm is submitted).
They consist of:
-Superabsorbent core that absorbs and retains exudate. Exudate it is absorbed vertically by the patch and then retained and distributed evenly at its core, forming gel; In this way, the risk of wetting the skin surrounding the ulcer but at the same time maintained and a moist healing environment.
-Layer of hypoallergenic silicone on the contact surface with the ulcer for better adhesion that extends up to the perimeter adhesive.
-External waterproof membrane impervious to microorganisms, for prevention contaminants, but air-permeable to allow evaporation.
The patches retain their shape and integrity throughout the use them .
They are indicated for the treatment of chronic exudative ulcers and acute wounds and they hey can be used both as a primary and secondary patch. It is also possible to use in combination with compressive bandage.
